This week cyclists gathered to commemorate those killed or injured while riding on our public roads. The Ride of Silence consisted of a four mile ride to raise awareness about the dangers cyclists face on our roads, while supporting public safety and road design initiatives like Vision Zero. This event was organized by Pedal Safe ROA and the City of Roanoke.
