Roanoke City Public Schools is beginning the process of transforming the administration center into a new Community Empowerment Center. Former students shared stories about their educational journey when the building was known as Lucy Addison High School and Booker T. Washington Junior High. Over spring break demolition will begin on a small annex building, but the rest of the facility will be preserved with an exciting new mission.
